Introduction
Popups (or Toasts) are callouts that appear over top of page content. These popups fade in and slide upwards into their final position, much like a slice of toast popping out of a toaster.
You can use Toasts to notify users of:
A new call to action that you recently published with a link to the communication page.
An upcoming deadline for the current PAC solicitation with a link to the pledge page.
New site features like a survey or new content, with links to direct users to new features or content.
News from the organization or other internal web property, with links to direct users to pages within the current site or to other sites.
In short, Toasts are best used to bring attention to and request action from users for limited-time events.
